The Resource Tree is Tree of Life’s aid ministry. The Resource Tree provides bread, food, and clothing to people in need. Based in midtown of Lynchburg, The Resource Tree reaches people for Christ while providing basic necessities to those in need.
The Resource Tree is able to minister thanks to gifts and donations. Our corporate sponsors provide bread, canned food, beverages, meats, and other goods for those in need.
We also rely on donations from people like you! Your donations and financial contributions help feed and clothe local families every week. Your donations can be brought to the church on Sundays or Wednesdays, or they can be brought to the church office Monday to Thursday.

Special Events
Throughout the year, we hold special events for different occasions and holidays. During Easter, we hold a special food drive to collect Easter meals for families and Easter baskets for the kids. We also collect Easter clothes to give out to families
For Thanksgiving, we do a special food drive. We collect frozen turkeys (size 12 or larger), canned cranberries, canned vegetables, stuffing, and other traditional thanksgiving day foods. We also use monetary donations to help buy additional supplies.
We recently received a large donation of gently used furniture from Whitten funeral home. We were able to help bless several families with new furniture sets.
For Christmas, we not only give out food and clothes, but we also accept toys for children of all ages. Last year, we received a number of new bikes that we could give out to young kids
